Publications

Writing is considered as an important part of one’s career. Some people engage in writing for pleasure and sharing their intellectual knowledge for the benefit of others, while others write to get their work published to fulfil certain minimum requirements such as getting a job or promotion, and others still write in a request for support/assistance etc.  But all in all, writing is not a simple task, it requires some basic skills depending on what you are writing, and it can also cost you some valuable time to gather the necessary content. CAARD is the best place for your publication, because although some works for CAARD Publishers are closed access, most of the other published works are open access, as you know open access books, articles and reports allow for wider dissemination of research and content to the scientific community.

We equip you with publication skills

Many academics in most institutions just stop at submitting their research papers, dissertations and theses for academic awards. And their works however much good they are, are never disseminated or shared with the wider scientific community. This is very unfortunate and at CAARD publishers, we will help you to turn your work into publication materials. You should note that before submitting an article or any material for publication you MUST make sure it is as good as you can make it. This doesn’t only make your life easier by increasing your chances for acceptance but well-polished academic work makes the life and work of Editors and Reviewers easier.

At UNIRI under CAARD Publishers, we shall journey with you, provide you with the necessary skills and expertise, to make sure that you come up with a perfect Piece of work. Currently we offer the following services:

1.Turning your dissertation into a publishable book

Turning your academic work whether a research report, dissertation or thesis into a publishable book is not an easy task especially if you are not grounded in academic writing. It requires extensive revisions to the manuscript, you will need to make as many changes as you can before submitting it for publication.  Although you may get back useful review reports, you may also be turned down and your work is out rightly rejected for publication. At CAARD publishers, we are ready to help you out through the entire publication process; from the conception of an idea, data collection, restructuring and rewriting your dissertation, copyediting, proof reading, type setting and publishing your book and making sure that it is accessed online.

2.Writing a book from scratch

In many parts of the world many people still live in the oral age, such people may have brilliant ideas in their heads but have no idea how to write them down. What we do at CAARDS is to help such people organize and document their ideas into publishable books or book chapters.

3.Extracting Journal articles from your dissertation

Some people may not need to publish their entire academic work in the form of a book but may wish to have different journal articles. We shall help you re-arrange your work and add any relevant and up todate content to qualify your work for publication. Please note that we manage the entire publication process for you right from the start to the end.

4.Research mentorship

Conducting research is not as easy as some of you may think and that is why few people advance research from the research reports and dissertations. Currently it is well known that students in many Higher Institutions of Learning hire mercenaries to do research for them so as to fulfill their academic requirements. This is criminal and academic laziness and should never be accepted by any institution worth of the name. At CAARD Publishers we don’t do work for you but we assign you a mentor who guides you through each step of your research. So, by the end of your research, you don’t only get a finished product in form a research paper, dissertation or a journal article but you walk away with knowledge and skills to independently conduct research.

5.Documenting Autobiographies

Although we may know a lot about our own life history, many of us don’t have the skills to accurately document that history so that information can be kept and accessed by family members and other interested people in future. It is undeniable fact that as we age, we lose our memory and we may not be in position to verbally tell a story of our own life, it is therefore imperative to have a written account of our own life when we still have the memory. At CAARD Publishers we are ready to assist you accurately write down your life’s account and if you wish so publish it for you online.

6.Documenting wisdom of elders

In every society there are old wise men and women, with a rich life’s experience and history that is relevant to the current and future generations. Such people have a wealth of experience to pass on to the younger generations. The young generations of our society can enormously benefit as they draw on the life experience and the wisdom of those who have already been down the same road of employment, politics, marriage etc.  Since we live in an oral society where there is no culture of writing, it is unfortunate that we have started to lose vital information from such senior people as many have died when they have not written anything in regard to life’s history. Note that world over, development is hinged to well processed and stored information, therefore at CAARD we shall help you document and publish such vital information from elders for the benefit of the wider community but especially the young generation.

We also make available well researched and analyzed reports in your areas of interest such as Climate, Education, Agriculture, Gender issues to mention but a few. Kindly contact us for any of the above-mentioned services at reasonably modest cost.
